Unlike her predecessor, the new president, Samia Suluhu Hassan, supports the vaccination campaign promoted by the WHO, among others, and pushed it forward. She was also the first to be vaccinated against Covid-19 on 28 July 2021 as a „role model“ for her compatriots. However, there were also voices that doubted that the President had been injected with more than just a placebo.
